Detailed Bands friendship card

Hello everyone.

When you’ve got your hands on lovely new Stampin’ Up! products from the mini catalogue for January to June 2020 and some freebies from Sale-A-Bration, it’s tempting to just play with them and ignore your old favourites. So, I decided to pull out a favourite set of dies and a stamp set that hasn’t been given much love recently to create this card…

I instantly fell in love with Seaside Spray when it appeared in the 2019-2021 In Colors but I can’t remember when I last used it. I think it works really well with these dies and the Silver Foil sheet.

I used Whisper White thick card to create my base. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of the Seaside Spray designer series paper (DSP) from the 2019-2021 In Colors 6″ x 6″ pack. My DSP measures 10 x 14 cm.

I used the larger Detailed Bands die with Seaside Spray card and the smaller one with Silver Foil sheet. I stamped the sentiment from the Praiseworthy Prose set in Seaside Spray ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with the oval die from the Detailed Bands set. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

With the ornate detail of these die cuts you really don’t need to add much more than a sentiment, so I didn’t.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products I used below and you can click on the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I would be honoured to be your chosen independent demonstrator.

Before you shop, please check out the Host Code page to make sure you get the best value possible. And remember that any order over £45 before 31st March 2020 entitles you to a free Sale-A-Bration product.

Happy crafting,
