Hello and Happy New Year to you!
I don’t really do New Year cards but I thought I should make this one for you. As I don’t have any New Year stamps I turned to my dies to create this card…
The Hand-Lettered Prose dies make it easy to create a statement! And the coordinating stamp set has a great celebration sentiment to match…
I hope that today is a great day for you and the start of a great year too. Here’s to lots of lovely craftiness in 2020.
My card base is Night of Navy and I’ve used the Stitched Rectangle dies to create the layers. I used 2 of the dies to create the Gold Glimmer paper frame and the smaller one of the 2 to cut a piece of Night of Navy card to fit inside the frame. It gives the impression of layers but without the wasted glimmer paper.
I used the Hand-Lettered Prose dies to cut the letters and exclamation mark (although I added a little heart instead of the dot) from my Gold Glimmer paper.
I stamped the word Happy from the Well Said stamp set with Versamark, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I trimmed this to fit and added it to my card with Foam Adhesive Strip.
I added some Very Vanilla card to the inside and heat embossed the confetti at the side and stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink. Both of these stamps come from the Praiseworthy Prose stamp set.
The Hand-Letters Prose dies and the Praiseworthy Prose stamps can be purchased as a bundle, saving you 10% on the cost of buying them individually.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s celebration card. I’ve listed the products used below and you can click on any of the links to purchase them from my online Stampin’ Up! shop.
Happy crafting & Happy New Year,
