The Strong & Beautiful stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is perfect for motivational cards, especially for the women in your life. So I picked one of the sentiments from that stamp set and the beautiful Peaceful Poppies designer series paper to create this card…
My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Poppy Parade card to measure 10 x 14 cm and a piece of paper to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I glued the paper to the Poppy Parade card and added some Poppy Parade ribbon before adding these layers to my card base.
I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with my Story Label. I cut an extra label from Poppy Parade card, cut it in half and added it to each end of the back of my stamped one, I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut some Granny Apple Green card with my Leaf Punch twice. To give my leaves a bit dimension I scored a line on each leaf and curled it inwards a little. These were glued underneath the label.
I love the bright combination of Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green and this lovely encouraging sentiment. I hope you do too.
