Christmas Gift tags

Hello everyone.

I’ve still got some Christmas shopping to finish but I’ve started wrapping the gifts I’ve already bought. I wanted to make a few special gift tags for my smallest friends (pre-school age) and here they are…

How cute are those little felt mittens and hats? Just adorable!!

I used Whisper White Thick card for my tag bases that measure 2 inches by 4 & 1/2 inches. I added some of the Let It Snow designer series paper to each one; this measures 1 & 7/8 inches by 3 & 1/2 inches. I cut the top part with my Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

I added the hats and mittens from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit. Then I threaded through some Silver Metallic Edged ribbon and tied it with some Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Snowman Season stamp set in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and cut the words apart so I could add them to my tags.

These are so quick and easy to make but are really cute. I don’t imagine the kids will really notice them as they tear the paper off their gifts but I had fun making them anyway.
