Band Together birthday card

Hello and happy birthday to me!

I thought as it’s my birthday I’d share a birthday card with you, using the awesome Band Together Bundle…

I couldn’t decide which of the beautifully ornate dies to use, so I used a total of 4 of them!

Who says less is more? Not me, when it comes to birthdays!

I used Night of Navy card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold card base. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and ran it through my Big Shot in the Tufted 3D embossing folder. I love the elegant quilted look this gives.

I used the largest band die with Night of Navy and the next one with Very Vanilla. To break it up I used the larger label die with Gold Foil card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Band Together stamp set with Night of Navy ink onto Very Vanilla card and then cut it with the oval die from the bundle before adding it to my card.

The band dies are wider than my card base so I had to trim off the excess.

I’m off to a craft de-stash today in the Scottish Borders selling off some of my old crafting stash so that I can buy more new stuff. Fingers crossed I come home with lots of empty boxes.

If you’d like to buy any of the products I’ve used in today’s card then just click on the links below.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
