Hello.
The lovely Helzie of Slimm And Stylish has set us a challenge over in the Stampin’ For All Facebook group and this is the sketch…
The last challenge I took part in involved using a colour that I realised I hadn’t used before. So I’ve done the same with this challenge and used Mossy Meadow for the first time…
I used a Very Vanilla card base, measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5 cm to create a landscape side opening card for a little bit of a change. I then added a panel of Mossy Meadow card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then Very Vanilla measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card to measure 4 x 13.5 cm and ran it through my Big Shot in one of the Petal Pair embossing folders. I also added a length of Burlap ribbon over the width of the top layer.
I used the Nature’s Roots Framelits dies to emboss and cut the leaves from Mossy Meadow and Tranquil Tide card. The larger one was glued straight onto the embossed card and ribbon and the other one was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment comes from the Rooted In Nature stamp set. You can buy both this stamp set and the Nature’s Roots dies as a bundle and save 10% on the cost of buying them separately. I used Tranquil Tide ink onto Very Vanilla card and used a Rectangle Stitched Framelit to cut it. I then backed this with some Tranquil Tide card trimmed to fit.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my take on this card layout challenge. I certainly enjoyed the challenge.
I’ve listed all of the products used in this card below. You can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
