As well as the gift tags that I shared with you yesterday, at my Christmas Crafts workshop we will also be making cards, including this one…
I love the combination of Tranquil Tide and Copper in the Joyous Noel Speciality Designer Series Paper pack. This card uses a Whisper White note card for the base, with a layer of Tranquil Tide card measuring 4 & 3/4 inches by 3 & 1/4 inches.
The designer series paper measures 4 & 1/2 inches by 3 inches. This pack comes with 12 sheets of 12 by 12 inch paper so you could get 10 of these pieces from each sheet – that’s a lot of gorgeous cards!
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Noel stamp set in Versamark ink onto Whisper White card and then added Copper Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I used my Pretty Label punch to cut this out and also punched a label from Copper Foil card. I cut the copper one in half lengthways and glued it to the back of the sentiment label with a small edge showing.
I used the Sprig punch to cut 2 sprigs from Tranquil Tide card and 2 from Copper Foil. I glued the sprigs to the DSP and then added the sentiment label to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Peaceful Noel stamp set and the Sprig punch are available to buy as a bundle and you’d save 10% on the total cost.
I hope the people that attend my workshop will love working with this beautiful set and especially enjoy the magic of heat embossing. It’s really easy to do but looks like it requires more skill than it really does. I love great products that make us look clever, don’t you? Lol
I’ve listed the products I’ve used in this project below and you can click on any of the images to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. Please use this months Host Code if your order is under £150 (see the Host Code page for more info)
Happy crafting,
