Birthday Card featuring Stampin’ Up! Half Full stamp set

Hello!

I haven’t used the Half Full set for ages so decided it needed to be dusted off.  Here’s what I created with it…

I made my usual card base from Whisper White Thick card, measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold.  I added some Gorgeous Grape card measuring 14 x 10 cm.  I cut a piece of Whisper White card measuring 12.5 x 8.5 cm so that there’s quite a bit of the Gorgeous Grape showing.

I ink the stamps using my Stampin’ Write markers, so that I could avoid inking the border of the sentiment one and use different colours on different parts of the stamps. I used my Stamparatus so that if I’d missed any bits I could have a second attempt without having to worry about lining it back up correctly.

I used Light Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to colour in the wine bottle. Light Old Olive was used for the leaves and both Light and Dark Rich Razzleberry for the grapes.  Once I’d mounted this panel onto my card I added some Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dots for some sparkle.

Inside the card I stamped a few wine glasses in the bottom corner and used my Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Marker to colour in the contents.  Finally I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Botanical Bliss stamp set.
