Hello! Today I’m joining in with lots of lovely and talented members of the Pootles Team in a blog hop demonstrating fabulous new products from the Autumn/Winter 2018 catalogue. If you came directly to my blog then please click on the blue box at the end of my blog to hop along to read the next one. If you’re already hopping around then you already know what to do!
I decided to use the All Is Bright Designer Series Paper for my projects to share with you today. I made a box for 4 tea lights and a coordinating card…
Isn’t this photographic paper just gorgeous? I thought it just had to combined with some Gold heat embossing and sequins.
My box was made from Very Vanilla A4 card that measures 7 by 6 and 1/4 inches.
On the long side score at
- 1 and 1/2 inches
- 3 and 1/4 inches
- 4 and 3/4 inches
- 6 and 1/2 inches
On the short side score at
- 1 and 1/2 inches
- 4 and 3/4 inches
Cut using the following template and add DSP. You need 2 panels that measure 3 by 1 and 1/4 inches, 1 panel that measures 3 x 1 and 1/2 inches plus 2 panels that measure 1 and 1/4 by 1 and 1/2 inches
I also made a tag for my box using the coordinating Making Christmas Bright stamp set. I love this sentiment. I stamped using Versamark onto Very Vanilla card that measured 3 and 1/2 inches by 1 and 1/2 inches. I sprinkled with Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder then heat set. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper on one end and the corner rounder from the Detailed Trio Punch on the other end.
I threaded the tag with Gold Mini Sequin Trim and added this to the Gold Metallic Edge ribbon I tied around the box and then into a bow. The final touch was to add a few loose sequins from the trim using my new Take Your Pick tool then added a Star from the All Is Bright Paper Clips.
My card was super simple to make too…
My card base is 11 and 1/2 inches by 4 inches, scored and folded at 5 and 3/4 inches to form a portrait tent fold. The DSP measures 3 and 7/8ths by 5 and 5/8ths .
The bauble uses the circular stamp from Making Christmas Bright and the sentiment is from Beautiful Blizzard. I punched this with 2 inch circle punch. I also stamped the light bulb screw part and cut it so that it was long enough to add to the back of the circle. All of the stamping was in Versamark and heat embossed.
I added some mini sequin trim to the back of the DSP and onto the bauble. The bauble was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s projects and are now ready to hop along to see what the rest of the Pootlers team have created for you. I can’t wait to see their projects and be inspired by them, as always!
