Some of my friends and colleagues love the little antibacterial hand gels from Bath and Body Works, but we don’t have their shops in the UK. So I was delighted to find their shops in Montreal and stocked up.
I wanted to share them with friends as a little gift, which obviously means they needed a gift box and here’s the first one…
I used my envelope punch board the create the box. I used Lovely Lipstick card measuring 5 and 1/4 inches square. I scored and punched at 1 and 1/2 inches and 2 and 7/8th inches, then lined up my score lines on each of the other sides to punch and score. I rounded the corners on the 2 smaller flaps and cut up the 2 score lines either side of this section. One of these smaller flaps becomes the bottom and the other one is the lid. You need to trim off a bit of the other larger side flaps as they’re a bit too long. This doesn’t need to be too neat as it will be covered with the designer series paper.
I wrapped the box with a piece of In Color 2018-2020 designer series paper measuring 6 inches by 2 and 3/4 inches with the join at the back. I then used my 1/2 inch circle punch to make a little notch in the front so that it’s easier to open the box.
The Just For You stamp is from Rooted in Nature in Lovely Lipstick ink on Whisper White card. I used my Layering Circles dies to cut this out and a larger scalloped circle from Lovely Lipstick card. I used dimensionals to added the Whisper White to the Lovely Lipstick.
I added 3 of the new Glitter enamel dots for a bit of sparkle and of course some Lovely Lipstick ribbon in a bow.
