After I made yesterday’s card I decided it would be nice to make a coordinating gift tag and here’s what I came up with…
I stuck with the Powder Pink and Very Vanilla colour theme and used another one of the bigger stamps from the soon to retire Big on Birthdays stamp set. I love all of the different fonts used in this one stamp.
I stamped in Powder Pink ink onto Very Vanilla card and then mounted that panel onto Powder Pink card. I just trimmed the panels to fit around the stamp but the finished tag measures approx 4 x 3 inches.
I used my 1/8th inch punch on each panel before I glued them together, as the punch does struggle through 2 pieces of the lovely Stampin’ Up! card stock at the same time.
I passed 2 lengths of linen thread through the hole so that you can use this to attach the tag to a gift and then used another 2 lengths to add a bow
Another super easy project that packs a punch, especially when combined with the coordinating birthday card…
It’s the smallest gestures like a handmade card and tag that can often make the biggest difference to someone’s day. Why wouldn’t you want to do that for a loved one?
I hope you’ve enjoyed this project. I’d love to hear if you give it a go! I’ve listed the products I’ve used below and you can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.
