DAD card in beautiful blues

While I had Tempting Turquoise card and ink on my desk for Wednesday’s project, I really couldn’t bear to put them away.  I’m determined to use them as much as I can before they retire.  So here they are again…

This time I’ve paired Tempting Torquoise with Pacific Point and I have to say that I really do like this vibrant combination of beautiful blues.

My card base is Whisper White which measured 21 x 14.5 cm and was scored at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold card.

My Tempting Turquoise layer measured 14 x 10 cm.  The Pacific Point layer measured 13 x 9 cm and the Whisper White layer measured 11.5 x 7.5 cm. I normally reduce the size of each layer by the same measurement each time but I decided not to this time and I like it!

The stamps that I used on the Whisper White layer come from the Bubble Over set and I used both Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point inks.  I suspect that I may use these stamps for backgrounds like this more often.

I used the Large Letters Framelits dies to cut DAD in both Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point card.  I’ve glued them together, just slightly offset.

This could be a Fathers Day card, a birthday card, or a just because type of card – it’s up to you.  Don’t forget that Fathers Day in the UK is just over 4 weeks away, on 17th June 2018
