Hello!
In Wednesday’s YouTube video I showed you how I used up a whole load of thin strips of patterned paper that I had left over from making cards for my customers – if you missed it click here. Today’s card was made with one of the wider leftover strips that I explained in my video…
I’ve also used the new In The Pines stamp set and Pine Woods dies which I think are becoming a firm favourite!
My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm, My leftover piece of ‘Tis The Season designer series paper was trimmed to measure 5.2 x 13.5 cm (so I just had to reduce the length) and was backed with a piece of Shaded Spruce card measuring 5.7 x 14 cm.
I stamped the sentiment from In The Pines with Shaded Spruce ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched So Sweetly die and added it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.. I cut a piece of Whisper White card with a larger Stitched So Sweetly die.
I used one of the Pine Woods die to cut the tree from Shaded Spruce card, added it to the Stitched So Sweetly die cut and added one of the Square Vellum Doilies to the back of it before adding it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I just had to add a bit of bling with some green gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack…
These wider leftover strips of paper will also be great for using on sketch challenges. Waste not want not!! Lol.
