Hello everyone.
Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators are well known for sharing their creations and inspiring others. When we have face to face events for demonstrators at team level, in our regions, nationally or internationally we all love to swap. This means we each make multiples of 1 project and then swap with each other so we go home with lots of different projects to inspire us.
Obviously that’s not been possible this year so instead our Pootlers team arranged to swap projects, using products from the new Annual catalogue, between groups of 4 or 5 and send them by post. I will share the amazing creations I received with you sometime soon but in the meantime I want to show you want I sent to the others in my little group…
Each person received one of these cards and a little tea bag holder; using my current favourite Forever Greenery suite of products but without using any green! Lol.
This time I made my card base from Merry Merlot card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm I cut 2 pieces of Shimmery White card measuring 10 x 14 cm for each card. I also cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card with the largest Stitched Rectangle die. I stamped the Crumb Cake piece with the dots stamp from the Forever Fern stamp set with Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot inks.
I stamped the foliage using stamps from Forever Fern with Merry Merlot and Crumb Cake inks onto Shimmery White card. Some of them were stamped full strength and then stamped a second time without reinking to give a softer effect. They were all cut with dies from the matching Forever Flourishing dies set. I also used the dies to cut some Vellum and added in some of the Forever Gold Laser-Cut speciality DSP elements.
The sentiment is also from Forever Fern and was stamped with Merry Merlot ink onto Shimmery White card trimmed to fit. Finally I added a bow with the super soft and gorgeous ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim combo pack.
I stamped the corners of the insert with some more foliage…
I then stamped with Crumb Cake and Merry Merlot onto some Very Vanilla card to use for the tea bag holders. I cut this into pieces that measure 7 x 22.5 cm and scored them on the long side at 7 and 15.5 cm. I wrapped the tea bag in the middle of this and added a belly band from Merry Merlot card to keep it closed. I stamped the Hello from Forever Fern and cut it with the Classic Label punch to add to the belly band. So quick and easy!!
I hope my team mates enjoyed receiving their swaps as much as I enjoyed receiving theirs. Sharing is caring!
