Life is short, buy the rainbow shoes!

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me.

Today’s project is a fun and bright card that would be great for anyone that loves shoes…

I love this sentiment but would probably change it from shoes to handbags if I’m honest! I probably couldn’t walk in those heels anyway.

As a contrast to all those lovely bright shoes I made my card base from Basic Black card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card each measuring 10 x 14 cm, for the front and the inside. I embossed the one for the front with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.

I stamped the shoe from the Dressed To Impress stamp set with Memento Black Tuxedo ink onto Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape card. All of these colours feature in the Brights Colour Collection. The shoes were then cut with the All Dressed Up dies.

I used my Stampin’ Write markers to colour the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set onto Whisper White card that I then trimmed to fit and backed with some Basic Black card. I popped this onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the same colours for the markers as the card I used earlier.

As a little extra feature, I coloured the dotty stamp from Dressed To Impress with the same markers to stamp along the bottom of the inside panel….

I love how you can use these markers to ink up stamps as well as to colour images as they contain the same type of ink as the standard ink pads.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this fun card. I’ve listed all of the products I’ve used below and you can click on any of the links to start your online Stampin’ Up! shopping with me.

Happy crafting,
