Hello everyone.
I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to beautiful patterned papers and tend to keep bits I’ve trimmed off for card layers. Today’s card has used up some of my leftovers from other projects I’ve made with the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ designer series paper…
I’ve created this quilt pattern with the aid of the Stitched Nested Label dies. I added my die cuts from various patterns onto a piece of Purple Posy card, leaving little gaps between each piece, so the purple shows through. Using a Silicone Craft Sheet when gluing the die cuts means that you don’t stick your project to your desk! You can then trim off the excess pieces.
I then glued this to a piece of Petal Pink card measuring 10 x 14 cm and wrapped it with some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon tied with a bow at the front.
I then adhered this to my card base which was made from Whisper White Thick card measuring 14.5 x 21 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I stamped the Thank You from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set with Petal Pink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched Nested Label die. I used a larger die to cut some Petal Pink card to add to the back of the stamped one. These were then added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
For the obligatory bling I added some pink and white sequins.
