Hello, I hope you are well.
This time next week will be Easter Sunday so I’ve been making lots of cards to send out this week. (Sorry if I’m spoiling any surprises!)
I’ve had lots of fun with the Timeless Tulips card so I’ve got a few different cards to show you.
I’ll start with this one that was made for a Sketch Challenge over in the Stampin’ For All Facebook Group…
I loved making the 3D two tone tulip for this card and they’re so easy to do. For this one I inked up the tulip stamp with Daffodil Delight ink and added some Mango Melody ink to the top and bottom of the stamp with an ink dauber before stamping onto Whisper White card. I then cleaned my stamp and repeated the process four times. I cut them all with the Tulip Builder punch and then inked the edges with the Mango Melody sponge dauber. I folded each one in half and then glued them together…
Because I had so much fun making that one I decided to make more and added them to Whisper White Note Cards along with Stitched So Sweetly die cuts…
My other 2 combinations were Petal Pink with Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo with Melon Mambo.
Here’s a closer look at some of them…
And just to show that this stamp looks great even without combining inks on it, I made these cards with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Purple Posy…
I used Highland Heather card for my bases, added 2019-2021 In Color designer series paper and used Stitched Rectangle dies. I stamped the stems and the leaves with Garden Green ink. The smaller tulip is stamped directly onto the Whisper White rectangle and the larger ones were cut with the Tulip Builder punch.
Although I’ve created these cards for Easter you could simply change the sentiment on them and use the others from the Timeless Tulips stamp set:
- hello
- happy birthday
- get well soon
- Happy Mother’s Day
These would all fit into the same layouts.
I hope you like today’s selection of cards, now I need to actually write them and get them posted.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used today below, including all the colours of card & ink. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time.
I would be honoured to be your independent demonstrator.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
