Hello everyone.
Yesterday I showed you a card made with some free Sale-A-Bration products; namely the Happy Birthday To You stamp set and the Flowering Foils speciality designer series paper. Well, today I’ve used the same products but in a very different way…
This time I’ve coloured a different design from the Flowering Foils DSP in 2 ways. For the box I coloured the background of the design using the Flirty Flamingo Light Stampin’ Blend and for the card I coloured some of the flowers with the Flirty Flamingo Dark Stampin’ Blend.
It’s amazing how adding some colour can make such a difference!
I also used my Stampin’ Blends to colour the ribbon for the card and the rhinestone for the flower on the box. The flower was punched from Flirty Flamingo card using yet another free Sale-A-Bration product; the Small Bloom Punch.
To make the card I cut a piece of Whisper White Thick card to measure 21 x 14.5 cm then scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of my coloured DSP to measure 12.5 x 8.5 cm and added it to a piece of Flirty Flamingo card measuring 13 x 9 cm. I then added the coloured ribbon, securing the ends on the back with some tape. and added the panel to my card base.
I stamped the Happy Birthday in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die. Before adding this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a few loops of Silver Metallic thread.
The box is a remake of an earlier design – please click here if you’d like to get the directions.
This perfectly fits a little bottle of perfume I had, but would also be great for a lip balm. The sentiment for the box also comes from the same stamp set and I used the same ink. I cut it with my Classic Label punch and trimmed off the left end to make it a bit shorter for my box.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these very different projects using similar products. Remember, you only have until 31 March 2020 to earn the free products during Sale-A-Bration. Don’t delay, some of the free products have already ‘sold’ out.
I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s project below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online shop at any time. Just use the Contact Me form in the main menu to let me know if you need any help.
Happy crafting,
