Cuteness Alert! Little Ladybug

Hello.

Whether you call them Ladybirds or Ladybugs this new Host stampset available during Sale-A-Bration 2020 is just so cute!

I chose to keep my first card with this stamp set clean and simple. I started with a card base made with Smoky Slate card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.

I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm, one for the card front and one for the insert.

I stamped the ladybug with Memento ink and coloured with my Smoky Slate Light, Cherry Cobbler Light and Ivory Stampin’ Blends.

I then stamped the greeting Hey, Lady! with Versamark ink onto a scrap of Basic Black card, added White Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. Once cooled I cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die and added it to my stamped layer. This layer was ready to be added to my card front.

I then stamped the other piece of Whisper White for the insert with Cherry Cobbler ink…

There are so many other sentiments in the set that would work just as well on the inside such as Happy Birthday!, THANK YOU!, Thinking of YOU and more…
