Hello.
Although I thought I’d finished my Christmas crafting I realised today that I didn’t have enough tags for my gifts.
This year I’m going back to basics and using brown paper and string when wrapping my gifts so I wanted to keep my tags simple too…
I had some pieces of Crumb Cake card left over from making boxes so used them as my base for my tags. I cut them to 3 & 1/2 inches by 1 & 3/4 inches and then punched the top with my Scalloped Tag Topper punch.
I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink. To add them to my gifts I used some Linen Thread.
These were so quick I made a dozen in just a few minutes. It will take me longer to add them to the presents, lol.
I made a different version and stamped the brown paper for some gifts for my friend’s grandchildren, again using the same stamp set and ink…
Instead of using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch I used the Delicate Trio Punch and threaded through some of the Cherry Cobbler diagonal stripe ribbon to add these tags to my gifts.
I also added some of the cute Jingle Bells to these ones.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick and easy solution to my gift tag problem!
I’ve listed the products I’ve used below and you can click on the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I would be delighted to be your independent demonstrator.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
