New Wonders thank you card

Hello.

Today’s project is a little thank you card made for a special little girl. She added her precious drawings to the inside of my birthday card recently so I thought she might like it if I sent her a thank you card. She loves to collect the post each day and I hope she’s delighted that this card was addressed to her and not her mummy and daddy….

And here’s the inside view,,,

I started with my usual card base made from Whisper White card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added a piece of Pumpkin Pie card that measures 10 x 14 cm.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm ready for stamping.

I stamped the main image from the New Wonders host stamp set using Smoky Slate ink and then coloured it with Watercolor pencils and a Blender pen. I tried to give the leaves an Autumnal feel. I stamped the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink.

I used the same inks for the inside image and sentiment but used different pencils from the set to colour the fairy.
