Hello!
I really do like taking in part in challenges but sometimes time is tight so I’ve killed 2 birds with the 1 stone and made a card that meets the brief for both a Colour Challenge and a Sketch Challenge.
Both challenges were set in Amanda Charlesworth’s Facebook Group “Stampin’ For All”. Ian Potter gave us this sketch to work with on Monday…
And Amanda gave us these 3 colours to work with on Wednesday…
Now these colours don’t immediately say “Christmas” but they’re certainly a nice bright combination so I pulled out the Making Christmas Bright stamp set from the 2019/2020 Annual Catalogue to create this card…
My card base is Whisper White card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added a layer of Pool Party card that measures 10.2 x 14.2 cm and a layer of Mango Melody card that measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
I stamped the circular image from the Making Spirits Bright set using Lovely Lipstick ink onto Whisper White card and added the stars with Pool Party and Mango Melody ink. I mounted this with Lovely Lipstick card.
I stamped the sentiment with all 3 colours and used my snips to trim down the 3 words I wanted and backed them with small pieces of card to coordinate (or maybe clash, lol!)
I stamped the strings of fairy lights in Memento Ink onto strips of Whisper White card and coloured the bulbs. I also added some Wink Of Stell to the bulbs for a little bit of shimmer.
I hope this card has brightened your day!

Happy crafting,
