Not all Dinos Roar!

Hello.

Did you see the cute pencil wraps I made with the Dinoroar designer series paper yesterday? Well, this card was made with the same paper pack…

And there’s not a dinosaur in sight!

I was delighted when the Tropical Chic stamps and dies carried over to the 2019/2020 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue but I really miss the beautiful paper we had to match the suite in the last catalogue.

This Dinoroar paper is a great substitute – who would have thought it? There are 2 leaf print designs in the pack that both work well with these stamps and dies.

I used a card base of Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a piece of Old Olive card measuring 10 x 14 cm and my Dinoroar paper measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

I stamped the two leaves from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Pretty Peacock and Old Olive inks onto Whisper White card and used the Tropical dies to cut them out.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, again in Pretty Peacock ink on Whisper White card, and cut it with my Tailored Tag punch. I punched another tag from Pretty Peacock card and cut it in half lengthwise and added to the stamped one to give a border on the top and bottom.

I glued the two leaves onto the paper and added the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
