Velvet Meadow note book cover – video

Hello! I hope you are well. I found a lovely little Gratitude Journal recently that I just knew would make a pretty little gift, especially with a Velvet Meadow note book cover and pencil holder. Here’s the first one I made with Cloud Cover card…

The Velvet Meadow designer series paper is so gorgeously tactile with the awesome flocking detail on it. And a little bit goes a long way. I didn’t feel the cover needed much more decoration. So I simply used the Friendly Foliage bundle with Peaceful Pine ink to add a panel that the little closure tab fits under. And this is what’s inside…

As well as the gratitude journal I added a little pocket and aptly popped a little Pocket Hug inside!

Which one do you prefer? Cloud Cover or Basic Beige?

MEASUREMENTS

To make the gift bag in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies – sorry I got some of these wrong in the video – I clearly can’t read my own writing!

• Basic Beige card for the cover = 6-1/4″ x 9-1/8″
  • score on the long side at 4″, 4-3/8″ and 4-3/4″
• Basic Beige card for the note book holder = 6-3/16″ x 1″
• Basic Beige card for the pocket = 3-15/16″ x 1-1/2″
• Basic Beige for the closure = 3-1/2″ x 1″
  • score on the long side at 1″ and 1-3/8″
• Velvet Meadow DSP as follows:
  • 6″ x 3-3/4′
  • 1-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • 3/4″ x 1-3/8

The little journal inside this Velvet Meadow note book cover measures approximately 3-5/8″ x 5-1/2″
