Brushed With Beauty faceted treat box – video

Hello! I hope you are well. This time next week I will be in Germany preparing for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event. I am super excited!! I’ve been working on my swaps to take to the event and share with other attendees. I also had a look back at some previous swaps I’d received. This gave me the inspiration of this Brushed With Beauty faceted treat box…

The Brushed With Beauty designer series paper is gorgeous. I love all the painted textures, flowers and blossoms. It seemed a cute choice for this fun little box.

I have to thank Danielle Kassing for her swap at OnStage in Rotterdam in 2024 for her inspiration. I have found her video since recording mine – https://youtu.be/NnwlDzcpbro?si=mwm5PIcIaWbCV4Tv Danielle recorded hers in Dutch and she uses centimetres, but she did use an extra horizontal score line to make the partial and diagonal score lines easier to add. So I wish I’d found it earlier!

I can’t remember what Danielle gifted in her boxes but mine has a Ferrero Rocher chocolate inside…

I just think the shape of these is so cool! And I hope that whoever receives them will agree. I kept my decorations simple, using the Easter Basket bundle but you could add more if you wanted to.

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Brushed With Beauty faceted treat box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies

• Brushed With Beauty DSP for the base measuring 3″ x 6-1/2″
  • score on the short side at 1-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 1-1/2″, 3″ and 4-1/2″ just from the top to the horizontal score line in the middle
  • score on the long side at 6″ all the way from the top to the bottom (3″)
  • Turn 180 degrees
  • score the long side at 1-1/4″ 2-3/4″, 4-1/4″ and 5-3/4″ just from the top to 3/4″ down
  • add diagonal score lines as shown in the video
• Brushed With Beauty DSP for the lid measuring 3″ x 3″ – score at 3/4″ on all for sides
• A piece of Basic White card to stamp the sentiment and to die cut the flower pieces
• Embellishments
