Hello! I hope you are well. Autumn is definitely in the air now, it’s getting a little bit chillier and the leaves are turning colour so quickly now. So, I thought it was time I made a card to match the season. Here’s my Autumnal Natural Botanicals card…

I used lots of lovely colours on this card. Firstly, my card base is Cajun Craze. I suspect this is just about the only time of year I use this colour but every year I remember how rich and lovely a colour it is. I really must try harder to use it more often. The layer on top of the card base started out as Basic White, until I added Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Timid Tiger inks with blending brushes.
Then I stamped leaves from the Natural Botanicals stamp set with Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler on top. Finally, for this layer, I used Pecan Pie, Timid Tiger and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to spatter some ink spots all over. I really think this gives the background more texture.
My sentiment is from the Blooming Phrase stamp set and was stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Basic White card. Once again, I used up the ink from my blending brushes to add some subtle colour…

I backed the sentiment with Cajun Craze card, trimmed to fit. Then I added some loops of Linen Thread to the card and popped the sentiment over them with dimensionals. The final touch on the outside was to add some Timid Tiger embellishments.
I added a layer of Basic White card inside, with a little bit of ink blending and stamping to coordinate with the card front…

I hope you like the end result of my Autumnal Natural Botanicals card.
