It seems like an age since I made a card that wasn’t for a blog hop or a colour challenge. I’m also mainly making items to sell at craft fairs soon. At our class on Thursday evening we let the ladies get creative with the Beary Christmas memories & more cards. It was so much fun! They were so inspirational that I came home and made my own versions, with some of the leftovers. Here’s the first one
The Beary Christmas suite in the September to December 2023 mini catalogue includes a pack of Memories & More card bases and envelopes and a separate pack of Memories & More card in 2 sizes. I took a 1/2″ off one of the larger cards in both directions. This means that you see a bit more of the beautiful blue card base.
Next I added one of the smaller cards on top. I chopped one of the 1/2″ strips from the larger card to add across the middle.
I used my 2-3/8″ circle punch on Balmy Blue and Basic White card and glued them together with just a bit of the blue showing on one side. The Memories & More card pack includes 4 sheets of stickers. That super cute polar bear with the gifts on his back is one of them. The Let It Snow sentiment circle is another sticker from the pack.
I felt I needed to add this teeny tiny little polar bear sticker to the inside. He was just too sweet to leave on the sheet…
I’ve been using a lot of blue in my Christmas crafting lately. So I thought I should make up one of the red card bases too…
This one took a bit more effort but only because of the limited remaining supplies from the Memories & More card pack. Again, I trimmed down 1 of the large cards. This time I added 2 of the smaller ones, to make sure that I covered the words on the larger one. I also had to cover words on the small card with the paw prints, but that was easy with my circles again. The polar bear and sentiments are stickers and of course there’s another tiny polar bear sticker on the inside.
That was so much fun! And not a stamp in sight for a change. I hope you like the results and might give these cards a try too.
