Zoo Crew birthday card

Sometimes you need a quick and easy birthday card in a hurry! Well, today’s card was so easy to make because it mostly uses designer series paper! Here’s my Zoo Crew birthday card…

I used one of the square dies from Stylish Shapes to cut that party puppy straight out of the Zoo Crew designer series paper – absolutely no colouring required!! I used 2 more Stylish Shapes dies, 1 for the larger Pumpkin Pie square and another for the Basic Black banner piece.

My card base is Thick Basic White card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of the Zoo Crew designer series paper to measure 10 x 14 cm. This cute paper pack has lots of fun animal designs on one side and the reverse has a black and white design. So even if you’re not into the cute creatures, you might still love this paper pack!

I though I need to add in a little bit more colour so I used my Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to colour in some of the white circles.

I added the Pumpkin Pie square on top of the DSP, and then chopped the black banner in half and added them on. Then I put the DSP square on top, so you can’t see that there’s a gap in the banner.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Zany Zoo with Pumpkin Pie ink onto Basic White card and die cut it with a circle from Stylish Shapes dies. I popped this up with dimensionals…

And hey presto, my card was conplete!
