I’d like to share with you the card that I made for my very talented team member and friend Elaine of Petal Pumpkins for her recent Stampin’ Up! promotion to our Silver level…
Elaine is an absolute superstar and I’m so lucky and proud to have her in my team! I decided she deserved a bit of a special silver card and used silver heat embossing throughout.
I used Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of Silver Foil card measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card to measure 13 x 9 cm and stamped 2 corners of each with the beautiful Serene Garden corner piece in Versamark ink. I sprinkle them with Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I used one piece as the next layer of my card.
I die cut the second piece with some of the Garden Scene framelits so that I could add extra dimension to the card by adding some leaves and flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I also die cut the word Congrats from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits dies, once from Silver Foil and twice from Whisper White card then glued all 3 together and then onto the middle of my card.
You’ll see that I’ve also stamped and heat embossed a flower from the same stamp set onto the corner of the envelope.
I’ve also used heat embossing on the inside of the card…
The leaves in the corner are from Serene Garden and the message is from Incredible Like You. I genuinely am incredibly proud of Elaine and I hope this card will always remind her.
