I’ve made no secret of my love for the Year of Cheer product suite from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn/Winter 2017 catalogue. So when I was looking for a way to package some chocolates for a little decadent gift this suite was the obvious choice.
I adore the combination of all the lovely shiny products available in this suite.
I also rather like the contents of this box….
As you can see I created a matchbox style package for these yummy 3 mini Green & Black’s chocolate bars. The tray of the box is made from Thick Whisper White card and the outer cover is made with some of the Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper.
The gift tag uses a stamp from the very versatile Better Together set and has been heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder. I used whisper white solid baker’s twine to tie it to the gold 1/8th inch ribbon. Finally I added one of the Year of Cheer Embellishments to add just that little bit more bling!
I then decided that I would like to add in another secret message. When you remove the chocolates from the box you reveal the message…
The stamps for the inside of the box come from the Watercolor Christmas set and I used Garden Green ink.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this project.
