Hello. If you read my last post you’ll know that I’ve got workmen in my house at the moment and my craft time is severely restricted. However, I made these little cuties yesterday in super quick time after the workmen had gone home but before I had to leave the house for the evening.
I made these because they’re quick but also so that I can hand them out to stressed out festive workers to help make them feel appreciated and perhaps put a smile on their faces! These cute elves certainly make me smile.
I cut some Santa’s Workshop speciality designer series paper to 4 and 3/8th inches square and then used my Envelope Punch Board to punch and score at 2 inches. I popped in 2 chocolates and then used mini glue dots to keep the paper closed like an envelope.
I added a belly band from Garden Green card and then added the cheeky little elf that is simply die cut using a Layering Circles framelits die from another sheet of the designer series paper. My final touch was to add some Santa’s Workshop enamel dots to the die cuts, including a large white one as the pom pom on his hat.
This little bit of crafting has recharged my batteries and I will be back with some other project soon.
The Santa’s Workshop suite is now on the Retiring Favourites list in the Stampin’ Up! Year End Closeout and there’s not much left. In fact, the designer series paper I’ve used has already sold out! The Cards Supplies Set is still available though and contains everything you need to make absolutely adorable cards and other gifts.
You can obviously make similar gifts with whatever designer series paper you choose. There are some discounted papers still available in my online Stampin’ Up! shop so I hope you’ll take a look. Clicking on any of the products listed below will take you to my shop. I’d be honoured to be your Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrator.
Happy crafting!
