Hello and thank you for joining me.
Did you see yesterday’s blog post where I shared boxes filled with chocolates? If you did, then you may recognise the ‘DSP’ I’ve used on these Christmas Gift Tags…
I stamped more Whisper White card stock that I needed to decorate my boxes and I couldn’t see it going to waste! I’m am a stereotypical Scot after all – thrifty!!
The snowflake, ice patches and swirls are all from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set and I used Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel inks.
I cut Blueberry Bushel card into pieces that measure 4 x 2 inches and then used my Tag Topper scalloped punch on one end. I added a piece of my stamped Whisper White card onto the front that measures 3 x 1 & 3/4 inches. I stamped Merry Little Christmas from Peaceful Noel in Blueberry Bushel onto Whisper White and added a ice patch stamp in Balmy Blue. I cut the sentiment using a Layering Circle framelit and cut a larger circler from Blueberry Bushel card and glued them together before adding to my tag.
I realised that it’s not very easy to write on Blueberry Bushel card so I added another piece of Whisper White card to the back. This also measures 3 x 1 & 3/4 inches. I stamped a few partial snowflakes to it in Blueberry Bushel ink before I added it to the tag.
Finally I added some Whisper White Bakers Twine to complete my tag. I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick and easy project.
