Today’s project is a decorated hardback A6 notebook and is another one of my craft fair favourites. Who doesn’t like a notebook? Especially when it’s shiny, looks luxurious and has a motivational message right on the front….
It never hurts to be told you are the best! This stamp is from the A Big Thank You photopolymer stamp set.
I covered the front of my notebook with some Broadway Bound speciality DSP – I love using this as it’s so lush! It can turn a drab notebook into something special in seconds. All I added was some basic black card that I stamped with Versamark, sprinkled with Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set and then cut with one of the ovals from Stitched Shapes framelits dies.
This was so quick and easy that I made another version with a different pattern from the same pack of DSP and a different stamp…
For this one I used the Just A Note.. stamp from Better Together. I used Versamark and gold heat embossing again but this time used my Tailored Tag punch to cut it. I also punched a tag from the stripes DSP as a contrast. I cut this in half lengthwise and added it to the back of the stamped tag.
