Hello, I hope you are well.
When I shared a video of the swaps I received at the recent Pootlers team retreat someone asked me for a tutorial for a tiny little gift bag created by the lovely Emma Chellingworth. I’m always up for this kind of challenge!
Emma’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/emmascardsandpapercrafts and her YouTube channel is https://www.youtube.com/@emmascardsandpapercrafts736/videos, so please do pop over and give her some love!
I knew I could recreate Emma’s bag as it’s very similar in size to these bags…
And with a fold over closure similar to this bag (without the ribbon)…
And here’s my version of Emma’s cute little gift package…
I’d love you to check out my video tutorial for this project by clicking on the image below:
Or you can watch the video by CLICKING HERE
To make this project you’ll need the following supplies:
- Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper
- score on the long side at 2″, 2-3/4″, 4-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- score on the short side at 3/4″ and 4″
- Basic White card for the sentiment
- embellishments
The finished gift package measures 3-1/4″ x 2″ x 3/4″
Here’s the one I made, alongside the one I received from Emma…
And here’s how they open…
I love that the flap just tucks under the sentiment label, thanks to the dimensionals.
