I used an old favourite stamp set for last week’s challenge but this week I’m using the brand new Framed Florets bundle that only launched yesterday. I thought it would be fun to use this bundle with these vibrant colours and here’s the result…
My card base is Orchid Oasis card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Melon Mambo card to measure 10 x 14 cm. I cut this layer with a combination of 2 of the oval dies from Framed Florets. I just love those little hearts around the oval but oh my goodness the hearts went everywhere on my desk!
I used one of the oval dies a second time to cut the Basic White piece for my sentiment. I stamped the beautiful birthday sentiment from Framed Florets with Orchid Oasis ink.
I stamped the flowers with Memento black ink then coloured them with my Stampin’ Blends in all 3 of this week’s colours. I cut them with the coordinating dies and also cut some foliage from more white card with some other dies from the set.
I cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 10 x 14 cm for the inside of the card and stamped it with another sentiment from the set and those pretty flowers…
To finish it off I added a few Pearl Hearts to compliment the hearts around the oval frame.
