Creative Colour Challenges 56 – Forever Fern gift tag

These 3 colours made me think of autumn leaves so I reached for my Forever Fern stamps set and Forever Flourishing dies and created this gift tag for a get well present…

I swiped my Pumpkin Pie ink pad over the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder before putting a piece of Basic White card in it and running it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine. It gave me a nice patchy look but to I decided it needed more and gave it a quick spray of water too. I used my heat tool to dry it off quickly.

I the embossed card and another piece of Basic White card with the same Tailor Made Tags die and glued them back to back so that the tag is nice and clean and easy to write on the back…

I stamped and die cut leaves in each of the 3 colours from the challenge and glued them to the embossed tag, allowing them to overhang the edges slightly.

My sentiment is from the Cottage Rose stamp set and was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink then cut with the Double Oval punch and added over the leaves with dimensionals…

My finishing touches were some of the gold Festive Pearls and some of the gold Simply Elegant trim.
