Hello everyone.
I admit that I don’t often do cute creatures on my cards but I have fallen head over heals with the Penguin Place stamp set, the Penguin Builder punch and I’m absolutely besotted with the Penguin Playmates designer series paper pack. The paper is one of the FREE products you can earn with a qualifying spend of £45 or more in my online Stampin’ Up! store by 30 September 2021.
It has so many lovely patterns that are great for fussy cutting out the cute animals like the ones I’ve used for today’s card…
The paper pack also has lovely generic patterns like the spots one I used for my background and the stripes one I tore and added to the bottom of my card front. This piece was actually the reverse of one I was fussy cutting but only had parts of the animals on it and I didn’t want to waste it.
I also didn’t want to waste the top of this cute penguin that was at the bottom of one of the sheets of paper so I added him to the inside of my card…
This particular penguin can be cut from the paper pack with the Penguin Builder punch so you don’t even need to fussy cut that guy.
I stamped my sentiment from the Penguin Place stamp set with Misty Moonlight ink and cut it into 3 sections. I backed each one with more of the striped papers from the pack and then added some Blue Adhesive Backed Gems for a bit of bling. My fussy cut creatures were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals to make them stand out from the background a bit more.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this card, especially the polar bear that looks like he’s doing star jumps, lol.
