Today’s project is a box for a pocket pack of tissues…
I absolutely love this Designer Series Paper from the Garden Impressions pack. Which is included in the currently DSP offer, up until 31st July 2018
This is such a simple box as it’s open at one end. I used Powder Pink card stock measuring 6 and 3/4 inches by 5 and 1/4 inches. On the long side I scored at 1, 3 and 1/8th, 4 and 1/8th and 6 and 1/4 inches. On the short side I scored at 1 inch.
I folded and burnished my score lines with my bone folder. With 1 inch score at the bottom I cut up the vertical score lines from the bottom up to the 1 inch score line. I trimmed off the skinny bit up to the 1 inch score line.
I then assembled the box as normal with multi purpose glue.
I added panels of DSP on each side. The front and back measured 4 inches by 1 and 7/8ths inches. The side panels measured 4 inches by 3/4 inch.
I used my 1/2 inch punch to make notches on the front and back panels to make it easier to slide the pack of tissues out.
The Put on A Happy Face! stamp comes from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set; which is one of my all-time favourite stamps sets. I use this set right throughout the year, as the teddy bear is just so cute!
I stamped using Pacific Point ink onto Powder Pink card. I cut this using my Layering Circles framelits. I also cut a larger scalloped circle from the set using Pacific Point card.
I decided it didn’t need any more decoration to distract from this gorgeous designer series paper.
