Hello, I hope you are well.
The Love Of Leaves stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is a really lovely one for beginner stampers. There is a set of dies that coordinates with the stamp set but I’ve not used them for this #simplestamping card…
One of the reasons I think this set is perfect for beginners is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t get it fully inked up, because of the type of stamp it is. It’s a Distinktive (TM) photopolymer set which creates different opacities in a single stamped image for a realistic depth and intensity.
So if you don’t manage to ink it fully it just looks even less opaque in places!
I used 3 shades of green ink for my card but I think it would look great with just 1 if that’s all you have – we all had to start our collection that way at some time.
I stamped the leaves onto a piece of Basic White card that measures 10 x 14 cm and I cut another piece the same size for the inside of my card base, which I also stamped with a leaf…
My card base is Pear Pizzazz card that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I stamped the hello sentiment on a scrap of Basic White card and trimmed it to size and added it to the card with a piece of the edges from a page of Stampin’ Dimensionals – never waste those bits!
I’ve listed all of the products I used for this card below. When you click on a product you’ll be directed to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop.
When you shop with me I will send you a handmade thank you in the post. If you also use this month’s Host Code then I’ll add in an extra gift to your customer thank you pack. Check out the Host Code page in the main menu for more information on this.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
