Gears & Textures box – Stamp Around UK Video Hop – January 2026

Hello! Today I’m taking part in the Stamp Around UK video hop over on YouTube, with a fabulous group of other UK based Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators. Our theme for this month is Embossing. I have used heat embossing to decorate this Gears & Textures box…

I have used Basic Beige card and lots of metallic heat embossing to make this grungy gift box. This was my first play with the Gears & Textures stamps and dies that will be available from Stampin’ Up! from 6 January 2026. There are lots of great elements to get creative with and I couldn’t resist using one of the gears with my ribbon closure on this box…

MEASUREMENTS

If you’d like to make the Gears & Textures box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Basic Beige card measuring 5-3/4″ x 7-3/4″
  • score on the short side at 1/2″ and 5-1/4″ (or 1/2″ from each end)
  • score on the long side at 2″, 2-1/2″, 4-7/8″ and 5-3/8″
• scraps of Gray Granite, Smoky Slate card and Silver foil to die cut decorations and a sentiment
• ribbon
