Faux Embossed card – Stampin’ Around the World Video Hop – October 2025

Hello, I hope you are well. Today I’m taking part in the Stampin” Around the World video hop over on YouTube, with a fabulous global group of Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators. Our theme for this month is Shapes. So, I reached for my Spotlight On Nature dies to create this faux embossed card…

To make my card look like it has been embossed, I simply added various circles cut from Basic White card, with the Spotlight On Nature dies, to my Basic White card layer (chopping off the excess along each edge). This was added to my Secret Sea card base, with coordinating ribbon plus a sentiment from Encircled With Love…

This sentiment is stamped with Secret Sea ink and cut with the 1-7/8″ circle punch then backed with a 2″ circle of Secret Sea card. In my video I show you a tip for making sure you use the best sized punch for the job.

The final touch was some Secret Sea low profile sparkle dots. You’ve got to love how easy it is to make cards when all your colours match this well!
