Encircled With Love card

Hello! I hope you are well. I recently set a sketch challenge in one of our Stampin’ Up! team groups, when I’d taken over the group for a few days while the real boss was on holiday. I didn’t actually get a chance to create my own card with this layout but the entries for the challenge really inspired me to make one. So, here’s my Encircled With Love card…

ABOUT MY CARD

The stamp I used for the “Way to go” sentiment is from the Encircled With Love set. This is such a fun bold sentiment stamp set with 7 stamps to choose from. I stamped this with Darling Duckling ink on Basic White card and cut it with my 1-3/4″ circle punch. This leaves a tiny white border.

Other than my card base and Darling Duckling card layers, the rest of the elements come from the stunning Painterly Pears designer series paper. Even although there isn’t a single pear in sight.

I cut 3 pieces of the DSP to measure 2-1/2″ x 1-3/4″ and backed them with Darling Duckling card measuring 2-5/8″ x 1-7/8″ and added them to my Basic White Thick card base. The floral piece leaves a gap at the left hand side of the card but that gets covered up with the circles…

The stamped circle is backed with a circle of DSP cut with the 1-7/8″ circle punch and then another design cut with the 2-3/8″ circle punch. I added some Darling Duckling ribbon and then popped the circles onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The finishing touch was to add some low profile Sparkle Dots.
