Hello! I hope you are well. As some of you may know, I help with a community garden project in my town. My DIY skills are not as great as I’d like them to be and there are a lot of jobs I just don’t have the tools to do. We’ve been really lucky to have people offer to do things like fix walls and build compost bins. So, I thought I should make some suitable cards, like this Trusty Tools thank you card…

ABOUT MY CARD
The Trusty Tools die set has dies that match with the Trusty Tools stamp set and lots of other stand alone ones; like those I used for today’s card.
My card base is Crushed Curry card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold base. The Basic White layer measures 10 x 14 cm and I used the peg board style die on this layer twice. This die only cuts out the holes. And using my card sizes it leaves a bit of a gap in the middle, that I used to position my sentiment.
My sentiment comes from the Layered Thoughts stamp set and I used Crushed Curry ink for the Thank and Gorgeous Grape ink for the You. I cut this with another one of the Trusty Tools dies. The spanner and other little embellishments were die cut from Silver Foil.

I popped up the sentiment piece with dimensionals and just love that brushstroke type font of this stamp set.
Now I’m happy with this layout, I can go ahead and make some more for the lovely people that use their handy skills to help our community garden project. What colours should I try next?
