Painterly Pears card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop July 2025

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from Tatjana’s blog. Welcome! I’ve used a new Online Exclusive product collection for this Painterly Pears card…

ABOUT MY CARD

This is the first time I’ve had a chance to play with this gorgeous product suite. And I’ve used everything in it! The Painterly Pears suite includes the Perfectly Pears stamp set, the Perfectly Pears dies, Painterly Pears designer series paper (DSP), ribbon and embellishments. As always, they all work perfectly together.

My card base is Darling Duckling card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of the Painterly Pears DSP and joined them on the reverse side with tear & tape adhesive. The DSP pieces measure 4 x 10 cm and 10 x 10 cm. Then I added ribbon to cover the join, before adding it to my card base. I knotted another piece of ribbon onto the first piece.

I stamped the 2 sentiments with Secret Sea ink and die cut them with Perfectly Pears dies. Then I used another die from the set to cut a piece of Petal Pink card. I thought the piece was too big for my card to a tore it into 3 pieces and tucked them under my sentiments. Finally, I added some die cut flowers in Basic White and Darling Duckling with the embellishments from the suite in the centres. Look a how flush these Low Profile Sparkle dots are…
