Florals In Bloom card

Hello! I hope you are well. I love my Nellies Stampers team and I especially love the opportunity to inspire and create with them. As we are spread out across the UK it’s not possible to physically get together to craft but we can do it virtually. And that’s what we did recently. I sent everyone a crafty pack in the mail, with no instructions. Then they got a Zoom meeting invitation so that we could make 2 projects together and chat away at the same time. It was so much fun! One of the projects was this Florals In Bloom card…

ABOUT MY CARD

Here’s what I sent everyone in their crafty pack for this project:

• A Basic White Thick card base and a C6 envelope
• a layer of Florals In Bloom DSP
• a Textured Notes die cut from Basic White card
• a ‘vase’ created with the Sweet Jar punch and Florals In Bloom DSP
• Die cut pieces for the flowers and leaves using Pretty Florals
• Ribbon

I tried to coordinate the all of the pieces with the colours in their layer of Florals In Bloom DSP. But of course, the DSP has two sides!

I did suggest when we were chatting that adding a score line at the top of the Sweet Jar piece would help to make it look a bit more like a vase…

There’s no sentiment to this card so I might add one when I’m ready to send it; but it really doesn’t need one if it’s a ‘just because’ kind of card.

I really enjoyed creating this Florals In Bloom card but I enjoyed the time with my lovely team even more! I can’t wait for our next session.
