Sweet Jar treat box – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. Yesterday I took part in the Project Share Project blog hop with my lovely friends Verity, Victoria & Jayne. If you missed it please CLICK HERE to check it out. I promised that I’d be back today with a tutorial for my Sweet Jar treat box and here it is. This is the box I make in the video alongside the one I shared yesterday…

Here’s how it looks on the inside…

Again, I used the Nature’s Sweetness designer series paper to decorate this treat holder. I also used a new bundle that will be available from 5 May 2025 called Sweet Jar. This bundle includes a stamp set and a punch – to make cutting those sweet jars and lids super quick and easy.

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Sweet Jar treat box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Wild Wheat card for the outer box measuring 7-1/2″ x 5″
    • scored on the long side at 2-3/8″, 3-1/4″, 5-5/8″ and 6-1/2″
  • Wild Wheat card for the inner box section measuring 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″
    • scored on the long side at 1-1/4″, 3- 1/2″ and 4-1/4″
    • scored on the short side at 2-1/4″ and 3″
  • Nature’s Sweetness designer series paper as follows:
    • Three pieces = 2-1/8″ x 4-3/4″ ( 2 for the outer cover and 1 for inside)
    • One piece = 2″ x 2″
  • Basic White card to stamp and punch the Sweet Jar
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishments

The completed box measures 2-1/4″ wide, 3/4″ deep and 5″ tall.
