Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from Liane Gorny’s blog. Welcome! I’ve used some of the new Online Exclusive products to make my card for this blog hop. Here’s my Botanical Textures card…

ABOUT MY CARD
This certainly wasn’t a quick and easy card, because the Botanical Textues designer series paper I used for my background was originally black and white. But I had such a lovely time colouring it with my Stampin’ Blends. Firstly I coloured all of the leaves with Lost Lagoon and Old Olive, then I coloured the background with Petal Pink.
I also used my Lost Lagoon blends to colour the white ribbon and the white matte dots.
My sentiment is from the Textured Notes stamp set. I stamped on Petal Pink card with memento ink and cut it with one of the Textured Notes dies. Isn’t the detail around the die cut fabulous? I also stamped the large leafy image onto Basic White card and fussy cut it. The leaves were coloured with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and I coloured some of the middle parts with Petal Pink so it would blend into the background a bit more…

As my card base is Basic Black, I needed to add a white panel to the inside. So, of course I had to add a bit of detail there too. The smaller leafy image was stamped again with black ink and I coloured around it with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends…
