Delightful Wishes card – Touches of Ink Blog Hop January 2025

Today I’m taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop, so you may have joined me from Karina Ruppert’s blog. Welcome! I’ve not taken part in this hop for a few months, but I hope to do better in 2025. So, I’ve used a brand new bundle and created this Delightful Wishes card…

ABOUT MY CARD

I used 2 designs from the Floral Delight designer series paper pack for my background. My card base is Pecan Pie card and then I added a full layer of the gorgeous floral paper. Then a strip of the Pecan Pie design that I ripped an edge off for an extra bit of texture.

The Delightful Wishes stamp set has some two step stamps and I stamped the background layer with Lemon Lolly ink then stamped the second layer with Daffodil Delight ink. One die cuts out 4 individual flowers plus 3 that are joined together. I added some of them to the branch die cut on top of my card.

My large sentiment is stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and cut with the matching die. I used Pecan Pie ink for the second part of the sentiment and cut it with the lovely little label die from the set. And I couldn’t resist adding that tiny little bee trinket; it’s so cute!

Finally, I added a little bit of stamping and ink blending to the inside of my card…

I loved making this card so much that I made a second one with a different combination of the flower die cuts…
