Hello! I am sorry that I’ve been a bit quiet with blog posts and YouTube videos lately. Life has just been a little bit busier than usual: even for the run up to Christmas. Hopefully it will quieten down again soon and I can get more time for crafting again. One of the many things I had to do this week was to knock out some more Christmas cards. The Joyful Sayings ephemera pack was a lifesaver! Here are some of my Quick & Easy Joyful Sayings cards…
I bought the Joyful Sayings ephemera pack from the Last Chance products list, at a reduced price, thinking they’d be handy for next year’s cards. Until I realised I didn’t have enough cards left for this year!
All of these Quick & Easy Joyful Sayings cards use the Brushed Gold cards and envelopes. I simply used the ephemera backed with a deckled rectangle and a deckled circle die cut for the first 2, along with ribbons and gems. The third one didn’t even need a die cut, I just popped the ephemera piece up with dimensionals.
I love the combination of Cherry Cobbler and gold but I changed it up to Night of Navy for the next 2 cards…
To add some extra Night of Navy, I used my Stampin’ Blend to colour the rhinestones for these cards…
And for the final card, I simply glued the ephemera onto the card base and added some sequins, to keep it nice and flat for posting…
These were all so quick and easy to make. And because you get 2 of every piece of ephemera, I could make 2 of each card at the same time!
