Hearts of Elegance card – CCC170

Hello! I have so much on my To Do list but because I ticked a few things off it yesterday I gave myself permission to play. So I used the colours from this week’s Creative Colour Challenges to create this Hearts of Elegance card…

ABOUT MY CARD

This is the first time I’ve had a chance to play around with some of the Online Exclusive products that were launched last month. It’s been all Christmas crafting around here, for SO long!

It was also my first play with the Modern Herringbone 3D embossing folder. And yes, I did mean to put my Smoky Slate card into the folder at an angle – honest! Once embossed I added a little Smoky Slate ink with a blending brush to enhance some of the gorgeous detail you get with this folder.

I stamped the lovely flower from Hearts of Elegance with Flirty Flaming and Highland Heather inks onto Basic White card and cut them with one of the Hearts of Elegance dies. I used another die from the set to cut that beautiful detailed heart from Highland Heather card…

The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo and fussy cut before being added with mini dimensionals.

The final touch was some adhesive backed sequins.
